The Warehouse Support supports in processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, with high efficiency, and focus on customer satisfaction. This role provides administrative tasks for and within the Warehouse.

• Ensuring documentation for shipments stored within the warehouse is up-to-date, complete, and fully digitized. This includes ensuring supplier invoices are received, CMR's are uploaded and all related costs are captured in the system.
• Checking and registering shipment documentation and confirming receival to shipping companies.
• Support where needed with tracking of shipments.
• Support the warehouse with the creation and adjusting of documentation with regards to handling and splitting shipments.
• Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed.
• Ensure all data required for invoicing is captured in the system.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.
• Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).
• Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/ unsecure/ unhealthy conditions and possible improvements.

High School Degree or equivalent

Other skills and experience: 

• Literacy and numeracy.
• Previous warehouse and/or administrative experience within logistics is required.
• Knowledge of air freight regulations is desirable.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace, high volume environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Manual handling skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Thorough and good attention to detail.
• Ability to use a computer and the main software packages competently.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Patient and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Self-motivated
• Skills in oral and written English is a must, Dutch is beneficial.
