Overview

 
We are looking for a Warehouse Admin to strengthen our team. In this role, you support processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, with high efficiency, and focus on customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Admin role provides administrative tasks for and within the Warehouse. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring documentation for shipments stored within the warehouse is up-to-date, complete and fully digitized. This includes ensuring supplier invoices are received, CMR’s are uploaded and all related costs are captured in the system. 

  • Checking and registering shipment documentation and confirming receival to shipping companies. 

  • Support where needed with tracking of shipments. 

  • Support the warehouse with the creation and adjusting of documentation with regards to handling and splitting shipments. 

  • Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed; basic math skills required. 

  • Ensure all data required for invoicing is captured in the system. 

  • Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies. 

  • All other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demands deem necessary. 

  • Following instructions to execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable). 

  • Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and possible improvements. 

Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent level of education and thinking
  • Literacy & numeracy. 
  • Previous warehouse experience is required. 
  • Knowledge of air freight regulations is desirable. 
  • Reach/ counterbalance Truck essential  
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work in fast pace, high volume environment. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.  
  • Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations. 
  • Work effectively as part of a team 
  • Manual handling skills 
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions 
  • Basic administration skills 
  • Be thorough, pay attention to detail  
  • Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently 
  • Able to operate and control equipment 
  • Reliability and dependability. 
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations 
  • Work well under pressure 
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. 
  • Self-motivated. 
  • Skills in oral and written English is a must  
  • Additional (major) European languages would be an asset 
  • VGB Screening
