Overview

As the Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager Europe, you are responsible for statutory financial reporting, transfer pricing compliance, and fiscal reporting across AIT’s European operations. The role ensures full compliance with local statutory, tax, and statistical reporting requirements while supporting senior finance leadership with high-quality external reporting and compliance oversight. The role works closely with the Finance Director – Europe, Senior Financial Controller, and supports the VP Finance – Europe from a compliance standpoint.

Responsibilities

Statutory Financial Reporting

  • Manage statutory financial reporting for three consolidated groups headquartered in the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom
  • Prepare consolidated and company-only statutory financial statements

  • Ensure accurate consolidation, including equity eliminations and intercompany balances
  • Coordinate statutory reporting timelines and manage external audits

Transfer Pricing Compliance

  • Manage transfer pricing compliance across Europe

  • Coordinate and support consultants with Local Files and Master File preparation

  • Support transfer pricing audits and authority inquiries

Fiscal Compliance

  • Oversee and support CIT return filings across European entities

  • Coordinate with tax advisors and support tax audits

Statistical & External Reporting

  • Manage statistical reporting to the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS)

  • Provide ad-hoc external reporting support

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • Professional qualifications (RA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred
  • At least 8 years of experience in financial reporting and compliance
  • Managerial experience in audit/assurance and/or technical accounting and compliance within Big-4 environment is a major plus
  • Experience with consolidation systems (OneStream) is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, equity eliminations, and Dutch statutory compliance
  • Experience in multinational European environment
  • Proactive, responsible, and dynamic personality
  • Good assertiveness

  • High resilience and enthusiasm
  • Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) preferred
  • Fluent oral and written English is a must, Dutch is beneficial
  • VGB security clearance (or the ability to obtain it) is required for this position
