Overview

This role is responsible for the development, implementation and management of Data Center White Glove Services within the organization. The position focuses on executing technical site surveys, designing logistics and operational solutions for data center projects, supporting White Glove teams, and executing training programs to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. The role acts as a key interface between customers, operations, suppliers and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Site Surveys & Solution Design

  • Conduct technical site surveys at data centers and customer locations;
  • Assess access procedures, loading and unloading facilities, safety requirements and operational constraints;
  • Prepare site survey reports including photos, risk observations and operational recommendations;
  • Develop standard procedures and best practices for data center deployments

White Glove Operations

  • Set up and continuously develop White Glove services for hi-tech and data center customers;
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and customer-specific requirements;
  • Develop operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Manage strategic White Glove partners and subcontractors. 

Data Center Training Center Development

  • Develop and manage a dedicated Data Center Training Center;
  • Create and maintain certification and training programs for White Glove employees;
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions and safety programs;
  • Organize practical training for rack handling, installation procedures and data center compliance;
  • Ensure knowledge retention and continuous development of technical teams.

Resources Management

  • Track capacity planning and resource allocation;
  • Monitor project budgets, quality, service levels and customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience of 2+ years in freight forwarding, preferably in hi-tech
  • Experience of 2+ years in project management and roles with client contact;
  • Experience with audits, providing training and KPI management would be a plus;
  • Experience with Site Surveys / White Glove preferred;
  • Bachelor+ education level or similar;
  • Green Belt certification is a plus;
  • Ability to travel around 40% of the time
  • Fluent oral and written English is a must
  • Additional (major) European languages would be an asset
  • Strong understanding of data center environments, access procedures and critical infrastructure requirements;
  • Practical knowledge of server rack handling, hi-tech equipment movement and White Glove delivery standards;
  • Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, applications) preferred
  • Experience with CargoWise computer system is helpful
